Honestly dont waste your time and money. The Lightnings have a PCV issue with clogging the aftercooler and I tried this setup and it did nothing but make a mess and make my engine bay look like shit. I would honestly look in to something like the following links.

How did it make a mess if everything was clamped down tight?

Just curious... short term like to get it running this weekend, im going the HD route I think, then next week will probably order a "good" one.

Or i can always go the baked beans can route :D

The O ring that seals the plastic res to the body leaked after a few heat cycles from the engine bay and then the palstic body finally cracked and puked oil EVERYWHERE. I would think twice about even using one on my air compressor.

I had the DMR unit.

I got one for $20-$25 bucks from Home Depot. It's been doing it's job perfectly for 4yrs now. No leaks. Very similar to the pic you posted up top but black instead. If you're gonna be an idiot (like over half the people I see with an oil catch installed) and not install it properly in the correct location, then no, it will not work properly, ie; melt, won't separate oil enough, etc. In other words, don't put the goddamn thing over a turbo or in a high heat area. It should be installed in the coolest part of your engine bay if at all possible. I just cannot understand the amount of people who get this small requirement wrong. It should also be under a vacuum if your system is currently using a vacuum. You don't wanna lose it. I don't care how many people you see just using a an open air filter. You want the vacuum!

And most of those auto specific catch cans you see (like the Greddy canister) that are all metal and you can't even see in them to know if they are full. Also, 9 out of 10 won't even have a separation media and rely ONLY on condensation. And since most people don't put them in cool places, the oil stays in the air and is recirculated. Just a thought.

Here's a pic from a writeup I did for Supramania. My catch is located in the far back right hand side.
