is that front sheet of metal connected to the motor? man thats going to be a very vibratious ride.

 

thats called a motor plate. it eliminates engine movement, makes for an easier mount, and helps the car go straighter down the track, and yes it makes everything vibrate like a motherfucker all the time :)

drive shaft done and installed,

forgot the factory plate between motor and trans when i put em together, so had to separate them and install that(thanks Larry for the part)

headers on and tightened down

 

couple coats of paint on the intake and it'll be bolted down

 

 

thursday night..

intake, carb and filter mounted..

cut huge ass hole in the hood,

mount rest of exhaust

That first cut is always the worst. Lookin good though.

Engine waiting on the fuel lines and linkage to the carb, an alternator, and distributor...got the fuel filter and pump all mounted up

fuel lines done, radiator in, hoses ran, couple more circuits to eliminate in the wiring.... its gonna run on saturday, weather its 3pm or 3 am, its going to run.

If it were 3am after 3pm on Saturday, that would TECHNICALLY be Sunday.
