BradyPPC
Popped the shrouds off the 5.0 today and snapped a few quick pics. I find it interesting to see how things change over the years and how things are laid out. I was 1 tube of rtv away from popping the valve covers and snapping a few pics as well. Unfortunately, I was at my house at the time of taking the pics and didnt feel like running to the parts store. With the upper cover off, you can see the heater lines running directly fuel rails. There is a dense foam insulator directly over the fuel rails. The feel for the fuel rails is also moved front and center in the crossover tube compared to the middle of the drivers side rail like previous years. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/2011%20GT%20%20Pics/20100711110705_1_.jpg Pulling the foam isolators off reveals the fuel rails. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/2011%20GT%20%20Pics/20100711105526_1_.jpg Quick pick of the intake manifold inlet. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/2011%20GT%20%20Pics/20100711105454_1_.jpg The dual belt drive is new for 2011 as well. The rear drive operates the ac only, while the front spins the water pump and alternator. There is no power steering pump for 2011 either as it is now electric assist. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/2011%20GT%20%20Pics/20100711105423_1_.jpg A good view of the tri-y header coming off the driver side head. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/2011%20GT%20%20Pics/20100711110847_1_.jpg Pulling the oil fill cap reveals the timing chains for the overhead cams. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/2011%20GT%20%20Pics/20100711115008_1_.jpg Ill put up more pics of the underside of the car hopefully next week. Corsa is sending us one of the first runs of the new Extreme axle back mufflers as well as an X-pipe for the car.

BDHG940
Brady, what do you think about doing a carbon fiber upper cover? Do you think it would be too much, I was just thinking that might be a cool piece for these 2011's

NXfedRam
The Foam insulators over the injectors/rails seems to be a new thing on most of the 2011 models Ive seen at the dealership I work for. Supposed to substantially cut down on the amount of injector noise that can be heard.
