Rhett
Ok, I have a JVC Everio Camcorder and it saves files as MPEG, I would like to edit these in iMovie, but the file type is not supported by Mac osX so I need something to convert these, only program I found puts a gay Watermark in it unless you buy it. Thanks in advance, I need to post some video soon Edited July 17, 2010 by Rhett

ForeverMaker
handbrake will convert anything into anything.. http://handbrake.fr/ for osx or windows. it is primarily used to rip DVDs so it is worth the download just for that.

ForeverMaker
probably not much help at this point.. but you can queue up lots of videos in Handbrake.. not sure why they are distorted for you.
