FS: 1993 Mazda Rx-7 Montego blue $9000

I bought this car back in June of this year. The car runs in excellent condition and was obviously kept up well. The exterior and paint job of the car are in very, very good shape and the interior of this car is pristine for any FD let alone a 93. I'll have interior pictures up tomorrow since its too late right now to get any good shots (my garage isn't powered).

The car has an engine rebuild of 1.5 years ago and was done by RotaryResurrection. The car was daily driven by the prior owner and less so by me this summer.

I'm looking to get into something else for the time being until I have the cash to get the 3 rotor project started.

The Good:

-99 spec twins

-Apexi Power FC

-no emissions, airpump etc.

-RacingBeat Dual tip exhaust

-Ground Control Coilovers

-Yellow Koni adjustables

-Magnecore Wires

-Odyssey PC680 battery

The Bad:

-A/C is charged but compressor isn't kicking

-both headlight covers have issues (one is missing completely from a hairline crack the owner prior to Allrotor had and one has peeling clear)

-No undertray currently installed

-makes too much power for the current clutch. its fine as long as boost is set low

-front bumper is as the previous owner stated, "rock-chip-alicious from daily driving"

-small chip (smaller than a dime, im needing to get ahold of Safelite actually.. )in the windshield from the light cover flying off the car during delivery of the vehicle and it smacking the window on its way off

Other than the above mentioned there really isn't anything else to say about this vehicle other than its an excellent car at a very fair price.

More pics will be coming tomorrow, these are just the ones from the other owner rehashed but i'll put up the pics of the interior and the overall body of the car tomorrow.

New 3mm rotary aviation seals, new oil pump, new side seals, less than 15k on the new rebuild and yes 99 spec twins.

Interior is black. Im not sure who tuned it outside of it being someone that the guy I've dealt with in the past on the rx-7 club deals with for tuning, and the tuner's name is Steve.

Ohhh sorry the same, he had it all done at the same time. There was a better intake on it, greddy something or other but the previous owner to me took it off before he sold it to me so its back to stocker intake wise.

Rotory Reselection did the build, Ari is an awesome guy and either way the build is solid. He will not put a motor together with parts that are going to need replaced. I talked to him in-depth about that. Yeah, I'm nut swinging this guy. He's one of the last rotory gods. And I wish I had the ability to apprentice in his shop.

Steve Kan needs to come to come to Ohio. Probably his tune, as Jake stated.

Now after the build, it's up to the owner to do good maintenance.

If I was in the market for an FD, I would be considering this one.

Owning an RX7, it's like having a really hot girlfriend that needs attention often and if she let's you fuck her, you better be ready to take care of her if you break her.

A lot of win in this thread...

Isn't that similar to what they say about nitrous?

It's a good thing. I've just got other things I wanna do for now.

When I get another one, I'm going 3 rotor. It'll be 2 rotor for me to drive around for a second but I'll be purchasing another engine to build up for a solid 3 rotor setup.

It's been hot as hell the past few days so I've been lazy about getting out there to get my weekly wax and clean done.
