Das Borgen
http://www.adamdaley.com/max/mr2/MidOhio/richdrive.wmv ^^direct link video from Sunday^^, session 3 of 4. File is about 280mb and it s 19mn long Mid-OH is pretty technical. the red civic hatch (a good friend of mine) in the beginning was smoking oil.........he forgot to put his oil cap on (lol) but his car was fine. In another session, at China Beach (turn 7 on the club course), he had an agricultural experience and dropped a nice patch of grass on the line at Madness (turn 8) The yellow mustang guy was pretty quick too any feedback on my driving style is much appreciated 1st time ever on track driving and I had massive amounts of fun. It'sd also great that I was with a coworker, her bf, a Polak from Pittsburgh, some other neighbors from cbus.... We had an awesome time camping (aside from the massive rain saturday afternoon. No video from my rain driving on Saturday but I loved it even more than driving in the dry. The car felt planted, perfectly neutral and the feedback in the wheel is very very welcome........... Helps that I had an instructor who knew the track AND drives the same exact car (color, interior color, lux.... only difference between our cars from the factory is VIN and model year). He graduated me to group 2 to my surprise but I think I ll hang back with instructed rides for the foreseeable future trackdays. This car is very very capable even with minimal performance (suspension) mods there was some kind of ITR lovefest (all were Champ White, my favorite white in the world) there too but I never got to play with them http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss160/das_borgen/NASA%20midohio%20Aug%2014-15/P1010011.jpg?t=1282423126 the red M3 is the ex-car of the NSX driver. http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss160/das_borgen/NASA%20midohio%20Aug%2014-15/P1010010.jpg?t=1282423127 http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss160/das_borgen/NASA%20midohio%20Aug%2014-15/P1010008.jpg?t=1282423128 http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss160/das_borgen/NASA%20midohio%20Aug%2014-15/P1010001.jpg?t=1282423143 http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss160/das_borgen/NASA%20midohio%20Aug%2014-15/P1010003.jpg?t=1282423141 http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss160/das_borgen/NASA%20midohio%20Aug%2014-15/P1010004.jpg?t=1282423146 http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss160/das_borgen/NASA%20midohio%20Aug%2014-15/P1010007.jpg?t=1282423148
Xyster101
Yo dude, I sent you that RAW footage for you to edit down. No one is going to download a 280 meg file and watch 18 minutes of you driving in circles. Put that into movie maker and chop it to 5 minutes max. Then slap it on youtube. FTL! A video like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1S7AcDmdjQ Max

Smokey
I'm surprised they let you put the go-pro camera on the outside of your car. I'm doubting PCA will let me do the same this weekend.
Xyster101
It weighs less then 3oz (or 1 oz) which is the requirement to have a tether. It is also good to 145mph with that little suction cup thing.

It is also good to 145mph with that little suction cup thing. I have one, and I assure you I've tested it to 140. It stays on, but most organizations I've run with frowned upon externally mounted cameras.
Xyster101
Humm. . not NASA. Toss a string on it if they are really worried. Frowning and not allowing are also 2 different things . I would still do it with a "frowning" until I was told I was not allowed.
