The C6 Record for all C6's is now 8.68(ET) and 165.89(MPH)

Not even close. Couple C6 Outlaw 10.5 cars that run FAR faster than that. Here is what looks to soon be the new record holder in Outlaw 10.5:

1/8 mile pass of different C6:

Most of the Outlaw races are 1/8 mile, usually running mid-6's to low 7's in the 1/4.

Just like this is the fastest "Scion Tc" right:

Pretty sure this is the fastest "Celica":

I mean, we can't even keep up with the pesky FWD 4-cyl "Cobalt's" that Jegs builds:

Just for reference, this is the "List":

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-z06-discussion/1794944-the-c6-z06-fast-list.html

EDIT: I would include the C6 list on here but it is 10x more difficult to reference on CF

If it's not on there then I don't care :)

We are talking about an "actual" Corvette... has to have the Vin Tag, corvette Body, Corvette frame and suspension etc.

Obviously anyone can build a 4 second funny car and slap a "corvetteish" shell on it.

Too bad those are all tube frame cars. Prohibited by Outlaw 10.5.

These Vettes in questions are "actual" Corvettes. No VIN required because they allow body-in-white cars, but most of them have a VIN Number. These vehicles have to come from a major assembly line.

Factory quarter panels and roof required with factory dimensions. All factory pillar post and door jams must be present. No tube frames cars, must have a stock looking dash. All lights have to be there and be functional. Factory firewall in stock location required. Backhalves allowed, but front frame rails have to be stock, and front suspension has to be stock or of a bolt-on aftermarket variety. Auto with converter or clutch type tranny only. Exhaust with muffler required, exiting after the front wheel.

Since they have a Vin, Corvette body, Corvette Frame, and at least the front suspension, and are not allowed to be a "shell," and can be street driven, how is this not a Corvette? Yes, it is a race car, and no you wouldn't want to drive it on the street (and it wouldn't be legal, but neither is yours). But these are real Corvettes.

There always has to be one... normally when you don't know who are talking about... it is you. :gtfo:

These cars do not qualify for the ranking we are talking about. These are not stock cars and they do not have stock suspension nor are they even in the same class as what we are talking about.

I know that there are faster cars than mine, but not in the classification of cars that we are talking about. Someone WILL go faster than me, but for now I get the title(s) that I have earned (along with IPS' help)

Congrats of the titles and such

It's a long hard road covered with bumps and hatred but just roll with the punches. As long as your pockets stay deep and you can stay positive you'll never be with out the title. I hope this title stays with you and Columbus for a long time..
