BradyPPC
Our 08 Mustang GT shop car is headed down to "Mustangs at the Mansion" this week at the Biltmore Mansion. The car really doesnt get driven all that much but we had a few maintenance things to do to get the car ready. While we were in there we swapped out to a modified JLT Carbon fiber intake from a GT500 just for pure looks. Since the intake required tuning, I figured I would try and squeeze a little more power while I was at it. The car has a good history. Started life like this. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Larry/pro01_01.jpg Within 2 weeks it looked like this. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Larry/DSC02428-1.jpg Last year we were able to do the parade lap at Bristol with it with Kasey Kahne in the back. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Bristol%202009/DSC02485.jpg While at Bristol, Jack Roush did a meet and greet and signed the car. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Bristol%202009/roush.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Larry/DSC02451.jpg http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Larry/DSC02452.jpg The Roush TVS blower originally came pullied for 14lbs of boost. We swapped things around to bring boost down closer to 10 lbs and the car made 472/436 on a conservative tune. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Larry/TVS9lbsvsstock.jpg After the new intake and a few tweaks, the car put down 493/452 with a huge gain in torque between 2k and 4k rpm. http://i548.photobucket.com/albums/ii353/brady/Larry/TVSDynoGraph.jpg Here is a vid of the dyno pulls.
