Do not use your cell phone. Or anything electrical for that matter. If you need to, excuse yourself from the table, before being delt a hand.

Other than that, for blackjack, just play smart.

"Hit me, Hoser". Avoid saying this

Edit. Please update with what crossing the boarder was like. Many things have changed in the last 2 years. I read the boarder patrols site, but would like to hear from someone going through it. Thanks

you do need a passport. They will ask you how long you are staying, where you are staying and for the reason of the trip. And also if you ahve any tabacco or anything in the car and how much... Coming back through they are not as bad just as long as you are calm collective and dont do anything stupid or piss them off... And if you want the cheap cheap drinks you MUST stop at the duty free shop RIGHT after you cross over the boarder because once you clear the shop and the gates you can not get back to them until you are leacing the country again. Pretty stupid if you ask me but I learned the hard way that you can not drive to the shop or walk into it after you apss the gates...

Good luck and most people at the tables were more than willing to help out/ teach you

plan on sitting at a table for long periods of time, take your time with decisions. don't get to drunk at the table, tip the dealer if you win big.

i hope u are going deeper than Windsor. Windsor SUCKS! i have more fun at the river boat and Indian casinos.

I just flew over/back last month (Newfoundland), and drove over to/from last April/May (Ontario).

You must have a passport now. 2 years ago they required just a Birth Certificate if you drove - that no longer applies.

Otherwise, if you drove over 2 years ago, nothing else has changed. Same amount of time to get through, same questions, etc. We always find it harder to get into Canada than to come back. I always go with my wife (a Canadian citizen), so you would assume it would be equal both ways, but you always get more questions and a more thorough look at the documents going into Canada.
