wagner
Made right here in Columbus! It only drove over 1k miles in a week and made a bunch of low 7 second passes...

nurkvinny
"Could have gotten the 6 easy at Indy, but here, with the track the way it is... " ha. Take a guess how many parts were swapped out in between those 1000 miles and those 200mph passes. Oh, and by the way... that's my back yard, not Columbus
SiColin
Badass, that car floats
wagner
You should see the vid I will be posting of the tire shake low 7's pass he made. That dude can straight wheel a car. I don't think he had a ton of parts failure but there were others that had to do some swaping. The red sn95 Duramax mustang had to rebuild a tranny in the hotel parking lot to make it to Columbus. Look at the pic gallery I posted and you can see the 57 Chevy's head after a slight issue...
nurkvinny
Yeah, didn't mean part failures. I meant the support vehicle(s) that had all the parts needed to swap between road car and track car.

Most guys just swap to slicks and that is it. LOTS of oil changes happen but otherwise it is run what you brung... http://waggz.smugmug.com/Other/Drag-Week-2010/IMG6838/1013183623_vG6qD-M.jpg

wagner
Drop a 6 sec pass, drink a beer, drive home. Nice I am willing to bet he slept in the pimp ass living quarters in his trailor that was there.

Draco-REX
Now THAT is badass. I'll give that all the credit in the world. A lot of people call something a "street car" because they bolt a license plate to it. But it's a whole other ball game to drive 1200 miles on real roads and in the rain and then lay down a 6 sec pass. THAT is a f'n fast street car. NTHER91
I broke an axel at trails if it didnt hook then that wouldnt have happened Trails is about 1/10 slower than other tracks but it can and most of the time it DOES hook
SHIEF
A guy in a STREET CAR ran a 6.95 there Friday night. Didn't you watch the video? Believe that was Sat. night. Left lane was slick Fri. It's hit or miss out there (mostly miss), then again it's not exactly Norwalk.... And you can break an axel on the street. Just sayin
Vlad
I watched one of the cars being tune locally at Big3, chevy with a big ass blower, full fiberglass body. His street tune consisted of removing the blower and swapping out injectors. If you ask me thats bullshit. Your not going to unbolt your blower and swap injectors if its a real street car. I believe its the car that had head problems.. Edit: Here is the car http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c256/vladsgts/photo-13.jpg Edited September 22, 2010 by Vlad
