Duff1647545513
Going to start finishing the basement real soon and was just checking on here first to see if anyone works at a lumber yard or lowes or somewhere that can get a deal on lumber and drywall. Bam
I'll buy the materials for yours if you do all the labor in mine?
Duff1647545513
When do you plan on doing yours? My job will lay me off for the winter and i'll have a bunch of free time then, so if you're serious i may take you up on that
Bam
Been thinking about it for the past year or so, been on the back burner with other things, but would like to do it sooner rather than later so that we can fully enjoy our basement. How large of an area do you have? I'm only wanting to finish half of my basement, which is approximately 400 sq ft.
Duff1647545513
Its around 1100 iirc. But right now i was only gonna do about 400 like you until i figure out how i want to split the rest up or if im gonna leave it all open
Bam
Wow, that's one big area? My basement is split down the middle by a cement block wall, each side is approximately 12ftx32ft. On one half we have it carpeted and use it as living space, on the other have it's just the laundry room/tools/storage area. How large is the house, if the basement is 1100sq ft? Just curious as I thought I had a nice sized basement for my house.
evan9381
Go to the post office and go to the counter and get a few change of address packets...theres a 10% off total purchase coupon for lowes, which is all the employee discount is...i prob saved $200 or more when i did my kitchen in april. Duff1647545513
1350 with a full loft not included in the footage. The basement entrance is in the garage which saves some room and the basement spans the entire house except the mudroom/laundry room and a half bath

IVRINGS
It is a good deal to always get those 10% off. Home depot even takes them too. It caps out at $500 savings, but you can always buy with another one.
