As it happens I don't panic, just wait for whatever to happen to happen. I have spun my car 10 times at the track (road course, I know it is not 150mph) and I also went off the road backwards with my dad driving and hit a sign. I've seen tons of in-car video of drag racers trying to save the car with one hand on the wheel and the other holding onto the shifter...
