Chad and I went to the "Gallardo Experience" this morning at MAG. There were some very fine Lambos there, but the featured car was the 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera.

While he didn't do cartwheels à la Texas Mile, Chad managed to get sideways pretty nicely on the Route 33 ramp and also took honors for the highest top speed of the day. Anyone willing to get someone else's AWD quarter million dollar car sliding sideways (with the factory driver in the passenger seat) during a test drive gets my respect! If that's not CR style, I don't know what is. ;)

Here's our intrepid test driver with the factory professional driver getting buckled-in:

And off to the races:

The Superleggera with carbon fiber seats, interior and door panels, alcantara interior, 5.2 L V-10 making 562 hp, top speed 202 mph, weight under 3000 lbs:

Wheels are aluminum with titanium bolts, brake discs are carbon fiber ceramic:

We each got to drive for about 15 or 20 minutes around Dublin and got to hobnob with the Lamborghini aficionados. You know, just your average Saturday morning. :p

Lol great day today, not close to 165 but well into triple digits and it was getting onto 33 south from post rd. He said there is no one ahead of you getting on, hit the sport button and the awd slide sideways on the entrance ramp and was over 100 by the time I was on the highway. IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!

MAG sent invitations to people who had purchased a new Lambo, Ferrari, Bentley, Aston, Porsche, or Lotus at the dealership. I wouldn't have gone by myself (can't afford a new Gallardo), but knew that Chad was a big Lambo enthusiast, so he went as my guest.

Glad you made it out. Sorry I couldn't chat. Saturday was quite busy.
