Radio Flyer1647545514
Nikon or Canon should both be fine.
04silvrz
i like Sony point and shoot digitals the best. only the ones that use the carl zeiss lens though, it is FANTASTIC for a small camera. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SPM246445326P?sid=IDx20101019x00001a&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=SPM246445326
TTQ B4U
P&S with a great lens, check out some of the newer Panny units. I like the FZ35 which is going to replace my aging Sony that I loved. Fuji is good too. Nikon's newer S8000 is a keeper for sure. I may be picking one up for the wife shortly. PM me with any questions. Happy to help. http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/Q210grouptravelzoom/ http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/Q110superzoomgroup/
SpaceGhost
I Picked up a Nikon DSLR D50 on ebay for cheap. Bought a good lens and saved a bunch.
Tractor
I like canon, but there all about the same these days. Really the only major feature to look for is a good optical zoom. Digital zoom is ugly.
SLOWLX
What about this one http://www.cordcamera.com/Fuji-Finepix-JX250-14MP-Digital-Camera-P8923.aspx
Tractor
Thats pretty high mega pixels which isn't completely bad. I shoot with a 10MP canon DSLR and I can print to 30x40" easily. I even have 5MP photos I've enlarged to 16x20 that look perfect. So the downside to really high mega pixels is that you end up needing larger memory cards and you fill your computer up with files that are much larger than necessary. So pretty much beyond 5MP is wasted expense so don't just look for the largest MP you can get.
