Need Header advise.

What would be a good set of headers to put on a 5.7 Fuel injected 350 motor that is in a 1990 chevy 1500 p/u. its a 4x4 5spd. I haven't messed with headers in awhile and dont know what fits/works with this engine good and want to hear some opinions/feedback.

look for headers with small tube diameters, they'll work to your advantage with a stock/few bolt-ons motor. Just from looking at summits website, flowtechs are going to be the cheapest, and they're long tube headers.

They also already have 2.5" collectors on them, which is nice. Because a nice single 2.5" exhaust, is the absolute max size i would run on that truck.

Yea imma look into those. It already has an old flowmaster exhaust ran with single 3inch inlet, dual 2 1/2 outlet. it has duals comming out of the back. The muffler is rusted out so I just picked up a new flowmaster super 44 today to put in its place.

Your point is what? It is a big heavy truck that other than a muddy field is not going to accel at "mudding" do to width, length, and weight. Plus a oe manifold is way more durable than any mild steel header.

agreed. I'd venture to say only a very well engineered stainless properly ceramic coated header will last as long as a factory manifold- there is a reason automakers do not install them beyond fabrication difficulty.
