Nate1647545505
I'm "that guy" who can't take an in-focus picture to save his life, but I'm being urged by the higher ups and PR to work on my shutter skills. I need decent gear that can survive wherever we go and whatever we do (hey, I'm still a line officer, right?). I know 0 about cameras, so, be gentle on my photo-taking-virginity. unfunnyryan
My science teacher in 8th grade had a Nikon from the late 80s that he has taken around the world. It even survived a flood. He stood on top of the damn thing to show off how strong it was. I don't know much about camera durability so sorry I can't help just had to share
Richard Cranium
Another option might be a bunch of cheapo digital cameras, when you break one just pull another out of the bag and keep snapping. I've seen some of them take a pretty good beating and still work. Just pull the memory card and keep going. If nothing else you could try just one and see how it holds up.
