We were hard core racers at MCIR for years and stopped going because we were getting cheated on race gas and they would not take care of the track and it became a really dangerous situation. On the other hand I held and organized the first street race style race there back in 1994 or 1995. Bill and Shelby loved it. They shut the tree and boards off and Sonny was flagging the races and I was on the big end with a headset calling the winners up to Dan in the tower. It was a lot of fun. I miss it up there.
