TimTaylor751647545500
Already spoke with Kevin and he can't do it because he can't warranty the work. Come springtime, I'm going to need some cancer repaired. Who's the CR hookup?
spankis
+1 Just on the corner of my Dakota's bed. I don't need a great finish, just want to keep it from spreading.
Bam
Sell it...IMO. The cars likely not worth the cost of fixing it correctly so that it doesn't return, and why fix it half-assed and play the waiting game of it coming back. AJ
not many shops will touch it because they can't warranty it.

The cars likely not worth the cost of fixing it correctly so that it doesn't return, and why fix it half-assed and play the waiting game of it coming back. Because I have had no car payment for nearly 3 years, the car runs & looks great and has given me next to zero issues in the 8 years I've owned it. And the main reason why is that I still really like this car and it serves me well. To me, "sell it and move on" doesn't apply every time something gets a little older. And I gotta think my car is worth more than the cost of repairing some rust spots here and there.

TimTaylor751647545500
UGH! Just got a $2k estimate to have the rust repaired by Carstar. There has GOT to be someone in town that can do this for less than that. Otherwise, I'm really going to have to start thinking about replacement options, which I want to avoid as long as possible. iwashmycar
These guys fixed a hit and run on my door in January. Amazing job too. Not sure on the rust thing, but they do restorations so I would think they can tackle it. http://www.csnmotorsports.com/ Doubt they are cheap. They weren't the cheapest quote I had gotten...
