silverhatch
Anyone ever had any experience with dealing with a probate from long distance? My father whom I hadn't spoken to in quite a few years passed away last summer in Missouri. A friend of his has contacted me shortly there after and told me he has assets. I verified some of them but not all of what he has said. I'm just not sure how hard this would be to do from long distance and worth the effort it would involve. Anyone had any experience with this? Richard Cranium
Sorry for your loss. When my father passed away I just turned the whole thing over to my attorney. It cost a bit, but that made it one less thing to deal with. Since you're talking Missouri, if it was me, I'd find a local attorney who knows the courts and procedures (and the judges) to handle it. wnaplay1647545503
Just hire probate lawyer local to the area he passed.
