All they do is "bling" and slow everything else down. I can't count the number of times I've had someone being their computer to me because it was running slow and it's full of Norton shit that's supposed to make the computer run fast. I remove it all and the user is amazed how much faster their PC is. Plus, virus writers BENCHMARK their programs against Norton and McAffee. Don't bother with that crap software.
