IVRINGS Posted February 9, 2011 Report Share Posted February 9, 2011 I just want to make sure the building of ice and snow on the lower 1/4 of the unit is not a sign of anything bad. I have been going out every few days to check on it and clearing it, but didn't know if there was anything else I can do to keep it clear. This summer I plan on building something around the unit to hide it from view, but keeping it 1.5-2ft away on the 3 sides of it. It might help keep some of the snow drift from blowing into it.
