frenchy chan
That's a driver mod IMO. it is all about the driver...he did a lot of track days last year with pca and all the snobby porsche guys were getting pissed because he was passing them, but they didn't know how to drive their cars properly, yet...that's why they were there with instructors! pontiacfreak142
I liked GXP, but the MS3 is more of a sleeper. The V8 rumbled, but the MS3 is relatively quiet until pushed. Although not fast by CR Standards, she's surprised more than a few who obviously don't get the meaning behind my plates. true the sound does give it away, but ive seen people look at the engine in one and still think nothing of it. There was a member on here (not sure if he still is or not) that had one, took it to trails and had some kid with a bolt on civic if i remember right, look strait at the engine and said it was still slow and he could beat it. Needless to say the kid got his ass handed to him
Patterson
Erik you are goin down no matter what you do. Like a hooker in an army barracks Eh, just not a fan of swapped BMWs. Maybe that'll change in April.

BIGGU
I think the lexus SC300's are a true sleeper. You can put a 2jz-gte under the hood with little to no money and still keep stock body.

SpaceGhost
Tinmans old RX7 I still laugh at the asian kid that was looking at the air cleaner poking through the hood in the columbus square parking lot and Tinman told him it was a rotary. CRed05
My definition wouldn't allow for engine swaps. A sleeper is a car that has potential the way it came, allowing bolt-on's. A galant vr4 I think is probably the ultimate sleeper.
SpaceGhost
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Sleeper 1. sleeper Often reffering to what appears to be a ordinary looking stock commuter car that is anything but stock under the hood. Guess that excludes the colt, didnt that thing have a massive FMIC hanging off the car?
CRed05
As a reputable source as urbandictionary is...they have multiple definitions on there, and heavily modified doesn't mean swap in another car's engine. A V8 powered bicycle isn't exactly a bicycle anymore. That's just how I see.

KillJoy
A "sleeper" is a vehicle that appears as if it would be a slow, but in reality, is anything but. KillJoy
106mm
I'd have to vote for my buddy's Volvo 242. It has primered fenders, those huge Volvo headlights and an aluminum-headed, built 5.0 with a 150 shot and a 5-speed. Freakin' awesome. PCA is the most laid back, relaxed, non-stereotypical group out there in my opinion esp the Mid ohio and Northern ohio chapters. BMW club is where all the assholes are. That's why I continue to participate heavily with PCA despite no longer being a "snobby" porsche owner

A sleeper is covert, and unsuspecting, a sleeper does not have a jet engine hanging out of the back of it. See above volvo reference for "sleeper" you bleeding mangina.
