3.1cutlass
All is well...the clunking was the pedal hitting the derailer (feel like an idiot for lolking for.something hitting for 5+ min and not seeing that)...he said derailer cable prob just slipped, adjusted a few things, and its shifting fine, no clunking Another  to bike source in westerville! Thats cool. Better than my idea lol. It is fairly common for those to slip, especially after they have been worked on and not tightened properly. Glad it all worked out. AWW$HEEET
yeah if the cable were detached at the front derailleur, its not a shifter problem...

turbospec29
Thinking of picking this up to get my feet wet in some mild mountain biking. What do those of you who know think of it? http://www.performancebike.com/bikes/Product_10052_10551_1095973_-1_1591008_20000_400308
Sturg1647545502
It'll be around 2 probably. Did a 25 against my best judgment from heil hitler village to the bike trail and back. 1st time this year and there is apparently new construction. I hate that trail with a passion. Ive had more x10 more wreck causing situations on trails then on the street http://img130.imageshack.us/img130/4696/adventuree.jpg
evan9381
im in...im not too fast of a rider, so if you're cool with that, ill meet up with you for a ride. shoot me a text tomorrow 3747741 ive got a meeting at work at 10am, and gotta stop downtown around noonish, but should probably be back home around 1-130 and can be in hilliard by 2. Other than that it looks like a decent beginner mtb and could serve you very well to get your feet wet.
evan9381
little over 30 miles today. rode from the trail head in worthington, down to where the santa maria is downtown, down to wendys for a quick bite to refuel, rode front street to goodale park area, cut over to high, rode up to lane, back to the trail and back to worthington. trail was nice as ever today. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/31347732 Sturg - i may hit you up tomorrow...im feeling that ride from today right now. just depends on how im feeling come morning time
Sturg1647545502
I as well put down some miles today, 37.45 to be exact. I was hustling on the way back, but i made it an 18.0avg! good thing you stopped at the santa maria. As seen in my pic above it gets a little dicey south of main st. http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/9059108 that fine evan, i had some plans move up and have to be back by 3p, so at the latest ill be riding by 1230. Id love to have you along. i might be keeping it in the 30s still, ill be taking it ease on the avg speed. shoot me a text after you get up and move around a little and see if you can make it! Great day to be out though...wish i didnt have to work tonight. Ugh

John Bruh
I'm looking to start biking around my area (pataskala/reynoldsburg/blacklick). I know I want a road bike I'm not going to be doing any trails. Also I do have a son (he's two) I'd like to take along with me during my rides. Where do I need to start? I'm a noob as far as bicycles. Not looking to spend a lot either.
Otis Nice
You guys are light years ahead of me. I'm super pumped about how my new Giant Cypress performs over my crappy Roadmaster mtn bike. Hahaha. Just got 8.55 miles in last Thursday before leaving town for the weekend. Excited to increase it this week though.
