The only real difference on the exhausr side oif the head is the ports are D shaped on an LT1 IIRC, but a Gen 1 head will do just fine. Get Gaskets to match the header, port the head to that. Raising the roof on the port will do wonders for the exhaust side on a SBC.

Honestly i would love to have manual car, but this will see mostly bracket racing, so im sticking with an auto for it. Not to mention i already have a built turbo 400 sitting in the garage that i paid a measly $45 dollars for lol.

ok cool, im ordering a set of aluminum heads that i guess will get sent off to have that done.

 

I asked this question mostly because of friend of mine had pulled up a set of long tubes on jegs site a couple months ago that said there were meant for 4th gen f-bodies with a gen 1 350 swap. Problem is, i asked the guy at jegs today to see if they had any others for that purpose, and the guy told me he couldnt even find the ones i was talking about...

 

So i figured it might be easier to just try some LT1 headers lol.
