I have a 1993 Chevy 2500 350 5-speed. It's my daily right now but, I'd let it go for $2,500.

The heat works good!

Manual door locks, windows, etc.

Comes with the locking tool box.

Aftermarket CD, Radio player, removable head unit, comes with cable to hook up iPod.

70% left on the back tires, 40% left on the front tires.

NV4500

4x2

185K miles, which is low for a 1993.

New clutch, slave, fork, etc. done in December of 2010($1,000). Oil and filter changed 2/16/11!

If you are interested I can post more pictures.

Cleetus.

1982 Chevrolet C20 (3/4 Ton) - 8ft bed

CA/FL truck until 2008. Less than 60k orig miles on odo. Bought/shipped from LA through eBay 2/14/07 for $3800. Numerous bucks in upgrades, maintenance.

6.2L Diesel

2WD

TH400 in great shape, new TC, flexplate (after starter motor chewed many of the teeth)

Ton of maintenance items (lifetime alternator, Water pump, starter motor)

Professional R-134 A/C conversion blows ice cold

Power Windows/Locks

No radio

20" Weld forged aluminum wheels - Goodyear Wrangler Load E tires.

Almost NO RUST. :)

Starts up every time, DD last year (when Passat/Corvette were out of commission). Now, I maybe put 50 local miles on it a month. I would sell it to get more of a beater truck with a stick shift...

You might get that price if it was 4wd....

1991 Ford F150 XLT, 302, auto, 2WD, ext cab, 6'bed. PS, PB, Air, tilt, cruise, bedliner, step bumper, hitch, sliding rear window, pioneer head unit w/CD. White w/tan interior, 121K miles. Truck has some rust (bottom of x-cab, repaired once) /bumps (minor), but cleans up and looks decent from 50 feet. KBB is $2250 fair - $2725 good - asking $2400

If it sounds like what you might be looking for, shoot me a PM and I will email some pictures this weekend. Not in a real hurry to sell it, but looks like I will need to upgrade to a diesel for a new bigger trailer (and if I do sell it, I will have to be in a hurry to replace it!).

(yes Clay, I saw Cleetus may be available.....maybe )

That truck would look 100x better with some factory rally wheels. Still a badass truck regardless

Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but I'd probably trade cleetus for my Dakota. The motor has a gazillion miles on it but it has a new transmission and is in overall good shape. The motor could give out any day, but it runs fine :).

  • 4 months later...
I'm hijacking this thread again...cleetus is officially for sale! More to come, it's late...

I've wanted that truck since I first came across it. You're crazy to sell it for anything less then $5000...

OP still looking for a truck or is this now a Cleetus thread?

I'm making this thread my bitch now. :)

Srsly, I'm at work and will do an updated thread today or this weekend. I want to get a cheaper truck, no need for diesel/towing/etc when all I'm using it for is yard debris.
