brent1976
modding your daily is retarded I totally disagree with this statement. You just have to build it to take what it will do plus half on top. Unfortunately, not all vehicles have the after market to do this. I Eat Rice
+1 I agree. You gotta have a fun daily for when the other car is down. I have the legacy setup that I can use it in autocross and still have fun with it since the SC is down. I can see this but if you buy the right car in the first place it wont break all the time... Dave1647545494
yeah so that way when it breaks down (and it will they always do) you need some custom performance part that leaves you without a beater for 2 or 3 days no thanks... Dave1647545494
102k isn't that right around the mileage where engine sludge plugs the oil pump screen and wipes out the main bearings in those cars? ahaha I don't have anything against having a fast car, but depending on it is a whole other thing...... and you've got 2 more audis so there is always one to drive while the other two are torn apart for maintenance
Buckeye1647545503
Jones there is a big difference between your car making 200hp and derick going for 600 on his dd....Plus it is a dsm, that's less reliable than a Audi... Not by much

I could replace anything on my truck with something from a junkyard, and have it out tomorrow. The only thing that could cause me to wait is the turbo, and it would most likely give me enough warning for it to not be a problem.
Cordell
The only reason I never DD'd my Camaro is that I wanted it to stay nice. Sure mechanical wise I've broke it numerous times, but I never had to worry about taking it to work the next day. I have nothing against using a modded car for a daily, but I wouldn't suggest it for someone who can't work on it and fix it themselves. brent1976
At least once a week I go for an hour long drive, just because it is such a blast to drive. It's usually back roads, balls out, whenever possible.
