COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Franklin County Emergency Management Agency will test tornado sirens at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday. The announcement from the EMA came after the National Weather Service announced that it would not test its emergency warning system as part of a statewide tornado drill. The weather service said it would not participate because portions of the state were at risk for severe weather on Wednesday. The Franklin County EMA said the county was not under a severe weather watch or warning and will test its 172 sirens on Wednesday.
