Need a 4.3 vortec for a 1994. Will 95+ work or only 92-94?

Does any one know this by chance? I know it has to be at least 92, something about balancing. Will a 4.3 vortec from a 95+ work or will it have to be from 92-94 only?

I have absolutely no clue, but I'm sure AJ will know. You might also check out some boards for swaps using these motors, they usually are a treasure trove of info.

I am pretty sure the injection on 95+ is different. But when Idone a search on carpart.com I noticed it listed a few from those years. But like I said as far as I know I'm going to need 92-94 specifically.

95 is also obd 1.5 so you may run into some issues there.

if you only need the short block your good if you need a drop in long block its gotta be 92-94
