Anyone have the coupon for the Harbor Freight Floor Jack? I want to pick one up this week. Thanks.

As an added incentive, whoever can supply me with this valid coupon this week, I'll trade you one of these:

I would never get under a car being held up only by a HF Car Jack.

I came in here to post this. Many a time I have been under the car thinking, hmm when will this jack fail? I usually get out from under the car at that point.

getting ready for the races? :)

Ha. No. Just need to be able to lift vehicles with a lot more ease than with the stupid scissor jack from my truck. I hate using that thing. I refi'd my house and have this month and next month mortgage-free, and this is also a b-day present to myself. :D

I was in Sears today and they have huge sales on jacks and jacks with stands combos. I dont remember exact prices but previous to me getting a phone call and leaving, I was considering going back and buying one. I think they were all craftsman.

Just a heads up incase you want a name other than HF

I bought one of those jacks a couple weeks ago and i love it. Had no issues lifting up my heavy ass 300m and its the only jack i have that will fit under the front of my eclipse without pulling it up onto boards. Light as hell too so carrying it around the shop is so much nicer than than the other jacks i have.

I don't remember the exact model, but the aluminium vehicle jack that you would typically buy from sears is the biggest piece of shit ever made. There are stories all over the net about the pumps dying and ours did after 2 years of non-regular use. I bet we used it 100 times at best as we usually use our lifts.

This one, DON'T BUY THIS. Read the reviews on Sears website. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00950242000P?prdNo=11&blockNo=11&blockType=G11

From glancing at the 2 and 3 ton they don't seem to get much better reviews.

BTW, the pumps damn near catastrophically failed. One day it was 100% fine. The next person used it and told us that it was leaking a little bit (not actual fluid but just not holding the car up on it's own). The next time I went to use it a few days later it would not lift the car at all.

we have that floor jack and it's awesome....i'm pretty sure tons of people use them, i see a lot of blue jacks at the track :)

A lot of companies make blue jacks.

There isn't an issue with "strength" or imminent failure with a HF jack. The issues you see are with the frame bending if the car is at any minor significant angle. The hydraulics also tend to fail much more quickly, typically the seals. Usually when you see this happen, the jack won't fail under load, it will fail to lift again after having had the pressure released. This is typically the case with any inexpensive jack (like th craftsman one mentioned above).

So does anybody have a link to the HF coupon or will they only accept physical copies from a newspaper or the like?

They are all over their website in the fliers. Look here

http://www.harborfreight.com/retail-flyer

If you have the coupon on your phone they will accept it as they just need the number off the bottom of it.

I just went to Harbor Freight and they have discontinued item #67408 for $59.99 and will not be getting anymore in stock at the West Broad or 161 Store.

The replacement is Item #68503 that is regularly priced at $119, is on sale for $99, and $79 with their 'super coupon'

This is the one I bought --> http://www.harborfreight.com/rapid-pump-15-ton-compact-aluminum-racing-jack-68053-html.html
