Tractor
I have a laptop that I need to reinstall windows on to fix a problem (pretty sure its a virus problem) I tried the built in recovery program (gateway) but that didn't fix the problem. Any ideas? or where do I get a windows 7 64 home premium copy. I have the key that came with the laptop, just no software. I have a copy of win 7 ultimate here, but from what I've read the keys are specific to manufactures and versions.

smokin5s
what problem are you having? if you are going to reload windows, why not use the built in imaging option on the laptop and just make sure to backup your files first? what model laptop is it? Tractor
I tried the built in repair and the built in wipe, I'd say it was a virus in the MBR or somewhere else those programs didn't fix because an install from a CD seems to have fixed the issue. Thanks guys.
