I love the 2.3t but at about 450-500 it get BIG $

 

a ported stock head, a ranger cam, headstuds ,mhg, and a 60 trim will do it all day even with the stock top mount t-bird intercooler.

 

I put that motor I had together from dereks spare parts and didn't have but maybe 2500 bucks in everything including the car

I was thinking about doing a 4g63 mustang and this guy makes adapters right in toledo. guy make alot of unique shit.

That would be cool shit. The mustang has a chassis that you can do alot with and you have a ton of rear end options.

 

How about a Pinto chassis? It would save a ton of weight and still have all the options of a mustang.

+1 for 4g63. You can mount that thing however you want.
