Das Borgen
http://www.wistv.com/Global/story.asp?S=14460423 pretty fcucked up story BEND, OR (KTVZ/CNN) - An open-microphone night at an Oregon coffee shop turned tragic after a man took his own life on stage. Witnesses said 20-year-old Kipp Walker was playing a song on a keyboard at Strictly Organic. Patrons said after he stopped playing he began stabbing himself with a knife repeatedly. The young man's deadly actions left onlookers in shock. A friend of Walker's said he had planned to take his own life in public, and he knew it was coming. "I've been preparing for it for a while. I'm sad about it, but I think I'm in shock, it's like a whirlwind of emotions," he said. Walker reportedly spent some time at a mental health facility but his friend said he was set on taking his life. The owner of the coffee shop said people were confused about what was happening at first. "It was really unclear at first what was even happening. Because, you know, it is an open mic and it's a performance. People at first thought it was some sort of theatre," Owner Rhonda Ealy said. The coffee shop where the suicide took place is offering counseling for those who witnesses the horrific tragedy.
