He is getting a gto, but he can't decide if he wants a stock 6 liter, or a mildly modded 5.7. Key notes, he only has 14,500 to spend, it has to be a 6sp and under 80k miles. I don't see why you wouldn't unless the LS1 has a cam and a healthy amount of bolt-ons. I do prefer the flat '04 hood, but definitely prefer the '05-'06 rear. Then other than appearance which should be his opinion not ours Demi is getting a hummer so it's not for him, and the guy isnt on here, I told him get the ls2 but I wanted to see what the overall idea was. The ls1 has a decent cam, bolt ons and a tune. Ls2 is stock, but has a new motor and clutch from the factory. Both have clean titles and are in his price range.
