Lsx and gto guys

Friend of mine is having a debate with himself on getting a car. He is getting a gto, but he can't decide if he wants a stock 6 liter, or a mildly modded 5.7. Key notes, he only has 14,500 to spend, it has to be a 6sp and under 80k miles. What would you do and please try to stay on topic. Thanks

Go with the LS2 if he can find one that fits his budget. I don't see why you wouldn't unless the LS1 has a cam and a healthy amount of bolt-ons. I do prefer the flat '04 hood, but definitely prefer the '05-'06 rear. Either is easily changable so I wouldn't make any decisions based on that.

Is it damey?

Regardless, if they LS1 has all the things he'd do to the LS2 then get the LS1. Then other than appearance which should be his opinion not ours

Demi is getting a hummer so it's not for him, and the guy isnt on here, I told him get the ls2 but I wanted to see what the overall idea was. The ls1 has a decent cam, bolt ons and a tune. Ls2 is stock, but has a new motor and clutch from the factory. Both have clean titles and are in his price range.

Nice on the new motor.

And dami sjould not get a damn hummer the way gas is, lol silly kid.

Have you met demi? Choices are, pussy or sleep? Pussy. Money or sleep. Sleep. Video games or food. Video games. Hummer or g6 ? Hummer. Do you see where this is going? The best option is never his choice lol.

Brian I think A new motor sounds solid to, but the ls1 was done by a well known shop in cincy from what I hear. And it only has 51k miles on it
