ShoMeSomeFun
How is an Apex seal similar to a piston ring? Im looking at the rotors in the pics and dont see anything that would remind me of a piston ring. Sorry for the dumb question Im just not sure how the rotor is sealed up for compression against the engine housing.

Sorry for the dumb question Im just not sure how the rotor is sealed up for compression against the engine housing. The apex seals are at the tips of the triangular rotor and seal the three chambers. KD93R1
Owner wants seq.. However, only 3 solenoid valves remaining, looks worse than it is, but I know what ya mean. Owners next move will be single turbo, I'm willin to bet. This car runs good though. Peg 100psi Autometer oil press guage at start up, lookin like approx 14in vacum at idle. Start up was last night around 10pm. Owner drove car all day today, including a complete run around 270. I requested that he do a little highway cruise where he could run steady 60-65mph for 5-10min and then 70-75mph for another 5-10 and repeat as needed. We will see. On another note, whats the status of your FD Twisted 7? Lets all hook up soon bro.... Edited June 2, 2011 by KD93R1 Add
