BradyPPC Posted May 9, 2011 Report Share Posted May 9, 2011 Well, I just couldnt take it any more! Lol. A few weeks back I ordered a TVS supercharger for our shop car. It has been sitting in the back shop waiting for an opening to get it installed. I finally took a few days off and was able to get it done. While we were in there, we also isntalled a set of billet oil pump gears from the Triangle Speed Shop. I fully intend to abuse the car and didnt want to take a chance on the stock gears...I havent been able to spend the time I want to with the car on the dyno yet but with just a base file in the car, power is very very good. Honestly, Im not really chasing track times....Its more about just having a car I can enjoy. I will certainly take it to the track and put the numbers up when i do though. Ive made a few changes to the car. Went back to the stock exhaust as the Corsa's were just too loud for me personally. I really like the fact that the car is nice and quiet with the stock exhaust and the TVS is really quiet. I will tell you that so far I am only seeing 7-7.5 psi of boost peek and we are already well over 500 at the tires...I hope to finish everything up mid week if I can get some free time between everything else that is going on. I know the feeling. On the Marauder, I had the following: Long Tubes to Cut-Outs, to the Stock Front Cats, Rear Cats Deleted, Stock Mufflers and Tips. The Corsa's sounded incredible but you could hear them from a mile away. There was a time when that was exactly what I wanted, as I get older, I would rather not draw attention.
