Buck531
I'm looking to make a few lamps out of the several bowling pins I've collected over the years. Anyone have a long enough bit to go through it?

Benner
Can't you just use a 9 inch bit and drill from the top and from the bottom? Just gotta make sure they meet properly
Patterson
I've got a 6' ish craftsman drillpress, but it only has about a 3-4" throw on it. We could crank the platform up instead of the drill head to get through. I definately don't have a bit that long though.
Buck531
The hole doesn't need to be that big I don't think. It just i going to feed the wire through for the light bulb. I googled it last night and I guess they make lamp repair kits that I have everything. Couldn't be more than 1/4" I'm guessing.
