How to Patent / Copyright an Idea?

Write it down on a piece of paper, along with designs, blue prints, whatever. Put it in an envelope and mail it to yourself via USPS. Don't open it. Free copyright :fuckyeah:

LOL.... I actually heard of folks doing this for things they need an important time stamp for....cheaply.

I can send you along to the right people.

Well???

Hook a honky up! "I" think I might have something that could make a FEW $$$, and am wanting to make sure I get the majority of it. I just do not know how to go about making this happen.

I do know:

Step 1: Make sure it is mine.

If you have any issues let me know, one of the sales people used to be my boss. I would do a Patent/Trademark search for you, but I can't do that without there being a cost.

I would contact Coresearch, ask some questions and see if that helps.

Gots to sign up first. The step by step is pretty explanatory, it tells you in detail pretty well in the different price options. I some things i did the cheaper options and others i did the more expensive, it just depends on the thoroughness you want them to do and how much help you think you'll need from them. I tried making it as cheap as possible since I'm doing 3 different names and possibly a 4th. They have people to call during business hours if you have any questions. Google the shit out of your idea before paying anything though. You don't want a similar name or idea out there already or it will make the tradmarking much more drug out and could result in wasting that money. Im having this issue with one of mine, and unfortunately it's the one i really wanted the most. It's going to be fought in court

Please note that I don't know much about patenting or copyrighting IP.

But the first thing you can you can do is get a bound note book, not a spiral, the ones with pages you can't remove. Start writing on the first page and date everything.

BWT, I hate to burst your bubble but someone already came up with your idea.
