smokin5s
For sale my 2006 Craftsman 42in mower. This mower has been great for me. It's a true work horse. It has the Kohler 15.5hp moter which has never let me down. It has a new mandrel, pulley, bearings, and shaft. This mower is pretty fast too, I've had neighbors make comments to me about how surprised they are about how fast it will move (if you let off the clutch too fast in 6th gear, it will pull the front wheels off the ground) The battery is about a year old and has never given me any problems. It also comes with 10... yes, I said 10 NEW blades, a set of mulching blades, and a brand new belt (These are all spares.) I saw this exact mower (except a new model year obviously) for sale for $1,299. So at litterally half off ($650 OBO), you can enjoy the perks of the new mower at half the cost. The only reason why I'm getting rid of it is, I recently aquired a zero turn mower with a larger deck. So to recap - 2006 Craftsman 42in 15.5hp motor - 10 spare blades - spare belt - does wheelies - chicks dig green tractors - willing to deliver - $650 obo Thanks! http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg197/scaled.php?server=197&filename=dsc0674t.jpg&res=medium http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg607/scaled.php?server=607&filename=dsc0675mf.jpg&res=medium http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg88/scaled.php?server=88&filename=dsc0673ki.jpg&res=medium http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg827/scaled.php?server=827&filename=dsc0683vp.jpg&res=medium http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg96/scaled.php?server=96&filename=dsc0684g.jpg&res=medium

wnaplay1647545503
Every mower I have ever bought has had mulching blades. I have even borrowed several other mowers. I have 3 massive oak trees that drop several inches of leaves. I dont doubt it will cut them up as my mower does that but all it will do is leave cut up leaves everywhere when I dont want to see any leaves or pieces. I would be all over it if it would cut them up so fine they just disappeared.
smokin5s
there's a new type of mulching blade out that is supposed to chop the shit out of stuff.... I haven't tried them, but it looks pretty interesting... below is an example of the new blade design http://www.amazon.com/Commercial-Mulching-Replace-134149-138971/dp/B003UNS1Y6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1315114821&sr=8-

The stir the air up more to keep the clipping going through the blades more, I did not notice a difference.

I've been thinking about getting a set just because they seem like they are sturdier than normal mulching blades...
