Nitrousbird
Looks like the boat alternator is starting to take a shit. It will intermitently stop charging about 2500 RPM or so, then not start charging again until it is back to idle. Other times it works fine - started doing it the last two times I had her out. Not preventing me from boating (good deep cycle battery in it), but I am sure it will only get worse. Indmar anything is expensive, so I figure rebuilding is the cheaper route. Any places up north with a decent turn-around time? I don't want to miss out on any boating because of this.

Nitrousbird
That's not exactly north side, but closer than the last place I had an alternator rebuilt years ago.

Patterson
True, but I've used him a few times and had good luck with him. It's worth the extra 5 miles form the top of 270.
Buckeye1647545503
there are only a few laces that do it so you might actually need to drive somewhere. And + for jim's

XChris1632X
I actually have a spare, brand new Indmar alt. What kind of hook up is yours? I have to find mine. I know it is right beside this damn impeller I have been trying to find for the past 3 months. I can look hard when I get home from the hospital(wife delivered baby this week). Nitrousbird
I haven't taken a good look at it. I assume it is just a 1 wire Unit, but I'm not sure if LS1's require a different alternator.
