Mr. Jones
only one motor? seems underpowered for a 48' I'd rather have a outerlimits a pair of 1,350 horsepower, twin-turbo Mercury Racing engines deliver speed on demand.

Draco-REX
You do know those are GM engines not ford engines that mercury marine uses right? I had no idea. I thought Mercury = Ford. Now I know.
RyM3rC
I had no idea. I thought Mercury = Ford. Now I know. You're thinking of Mercury, not Mercury Marine. It does look unpleasant to load and unload. And I wouldn't want to be towing thing in a crosswind! Great, now you can spend $1.7 mill and get those lovely interior pieces. At least it doesn't have a cavalier steering wheel.
AC66Bronco
It actually looks like Mercury Marine designed its own block for this motor.
LJ
It actually looks like Mercury Marine designed its own block for this motor. Yeah, it's some kind of custom 552, but I am wondering if it is a Ford, 460 Stroker
AJ
Yeah, it's some kind of custom 552, but I am wondering if it is a Ford, 460 Stroker looking at the pictures its not even close to a GM or a ford engine. its their own design for sure. even has dry sump.
