From what I can tell, the crack is a result of the original welder (whoever welds for Boostwerx) not using enough heat, a flaw in the metal/prep work, or an odd stress being put on it. I repaired the manifold once and, while I thought I ran enough heat to prevent it from cracking again, I guess I was wrong. I re-welded it tonight, running enough heat for 3/16" material and using the thickest aluminum filler I have. If that doesn't fix it, I'll build a new manifold.
