Fubar231
Who makes a good F-Body T56 trans mount? My stock one is broken, and i don't want a stock replacement. Id like to get a solid or a poly one. Anyone know where i can pick one up?
Steve R.
I have one, it is an energy suspension poly mount. Jegs sells them for $22, but if you want mine, I'd say like 10-15 or what ever seems fair.

Cordell
I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone with one of these cars, get the torque arm relocation crossmember and stick with a stock tranny mount. The torque arm being mounted on the transmission is what wears out the mount, and its my opinion that putting a stiffer mount on the trans then what is used for engine mounts will just put stress on the transmission case. End all problems by fixing one of GM's stupid designs with the torque arm mount.

Cordell
Where are you located? How much is a torque arm relocation kit? They're about $250 plus you'll need a new mount, a stock tranny mount is about $40. http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=products&vehicleid=6&maincatid=58&catid=

Steve R.
Because, It transferred a lot of vibration, and sound resonance from the exhaust. And because I will be installing an off trans torque arm mount. :megusta:
