1999 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport

Title in hand, clean and clear

143K miles

Automatic Transmission

2.5RS wheels and maybe 2.5RS suspension?

Power steering, cruise control, power mirrors, NO sunroof, Air conditioning

Bought the car with a blown motor, put a new/used engine block (short block) in with 152K, heads/intake are original with 143K.

 

New stuff- Last 350 miles

-Head gaskets, including exhaust and intake manifold gaskets, head bolts, valve cover gaskets including spark plug tube gaskets

-Timing belt kit, water pump, thermostat

-RF axle shaft

-Tires

-Rear shoes, turned drums, new hardware, wheel cylinders were dry. Front brakes 40% remaining.

-Battery

-Spark plugs, wires, air filter, accessory belts

-Fresh coolant, brake fluid, oil change, rear differential fluid, front differential/transfer case fluid, transmission fluid

 

Issues/defects

-Fog lights are in/op

-Rust starting on rear fender lips, has NOT broken the paint yet, scratches on rear lift gate

-Missing lid for center of dash storage

-I need to charge the A/C, or someone else can. I can explain in more detail to interested parties.

-RR window catches window seal funny, does not leak.

Bump for great running cars. I had same year, same motor, and sold it at 176,XXX miles. I would have drove that car across country. I got almost $4K for mine from a dealership. Damn thing was a tank in the snow.
