  1. Best way to end a weekend, end thread.
  2. Nice pickup! Always liked that gen Durango/GC.
  3. Sold my 2003 4wd LS with 229k for $1500 last fall.
  4. Mmmmm want so much! That’s my next toy. Very nice.
  5. Day of any home game you can go to the box office and get 1 free ticket with your military ID and normally a pretty good discount for any additional tickets. Friends of mine have gotten tickets right down at the glass. Pretty awesome deal.
  6. Nope, thanks man. Looks like a good combo.
  7. Size wheels? Approximately how many miles on the tires?
  8. Where can I pick it up on Monday before 4pm?
  9. Looks like a great DD/winter beater. Would have picked this up if I didn't just pickup a new DD. GLWS!
  10. Thanks Steve. I'm loving the car so far, 30 mpg on my first 200 mile trip (mostly hwy). Suspension is tight enough and engine is quick enough to keep me happy and not bored out of my mind. Also a nice family sedan that can still carry 4 adults and a kid seat without much trouble. MPGs are much better than my old SUV. Rare-ish color and Type-S make it a semi cool car that you don't see 100 of them driving down the road (not a civic, accord, camry, etc.)
  11. Drove a Passat, didn't tickle my fancy after driving the TL. So now the TL is at its new home. 2008 TL Type-S, 119k, 5AT, kinetic blue pearl, black & grey two-tone leather. I think I got a good deal and plan to drive it for another 100k. Once I figure out a new free photo hosting site, I'll upload a pic...help!
  12. I'll look into the MT Civic. Would like AT for when the wife drives it, but not mandatory. 4G TL and TLX are on my list. I'll look for an SH, yes the beak sucks. Oh well. I'm not worried about miles per tank. I fill up every other day as it is with the Trailblazer, so I'm just looking at MPG. Yes, the type-S is 17/26 and premium fuel...but under $10k and fun to drive (some comment to harsh for DD...whatevs) Not committed to the type-S, keep the comments coming.
  13. Drove a handful so far. Will probably go with the 08 TL Type-S, but have a few more to drive on Monday (16 accord, 13 TL, 15 TLX) High remarks: 2008 Acura TL Type-S, yes, love it, stiff suspension, under $10k 120k w timing belt done 2015 Ford Taurus SHO, nice, $30k top of budget, lots of interior gadgets (more to break?) 2017 Chevy Impala Premier, nice, $25k No: 2002 Buick Park Ave Ultra-no, too much of a boat, too lofty/drifty, good motor New Chevy Cruze Diesel-no, not enough pep for me on the highway New Chevy Cruze Hatch-eh, more pep, larger interior than expected New Honda Civic Hatch Sport, eh, not a fan of CVT
  14. Honestly that's my biggest delima. I haven't owned a 4 cylinder in 15 years, which makes me think I'll hate it in the long run. I'm not looking for the latest and greatest, but want to enjoy my time on the road...and be able to pass a semi on a two lane back road without shitting my pants in fear. I know this is my own delima I'll have to think through, just looking for optinions. All comments greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  15. I've had my eyes out for a 3800, everything that looks decent was 2 door (Monte Carlo and Riviera). I'd sport a Park Avenue Ultra for a year or two if I could find one. Yes, Tesla is on the high end of me list. Only one under $40k was rebuilt
  16. Thanks for all the input, I'm going to swing by Lindsay, Ricart and maybe a few others tomorrow to drive a few mentioned above. I'm not in a huge hurry to nail a new DD down, getting new tires on the SS soon so I won't hydroplane on 70 during a little rain. Could drive it until the first sign of salt, then she goes to bed. Keep the comments coming, I'm interested in everyone's opinions so I know what & why to steer clear of some cars.
  17. BLUF: I’m in the market for a new/used daily driver under $25k. I’m focused on a sedan, good gas mileage with good reliability, but hopefully not a total bore to drive. Kid seat will be in the back, so 4 doors for convenience. Old DD: My 2003 Trailblazer has 229k miles and a major power steering leak in the lines, $1000 fix and I’m afraid more major fixes will be down the line. It has good tires (half life left), brand new brake pads, fresh oil. I complete most of the minor maintenance, but have heard these PS lines are a pain and big project (and I don’t have the time or patience anymore). I loved that I could have a kid seat in the back and still have room for my road bike inside, but I hated the 17-18 mpg. I'll still have my toy, 99 Camaro SS. I drive approx. 30-35k miles per year and should probably just get a Prius. I hate the “should” answer, so WWCRD? Other’s I’ve been interested in: 09+ Acura TL/TLX V6 (mpg 20/34 dep on yr/drivetrain) 14+ Impala V6 (mpg 19/29) 15+ Charger V6 (mpg 19/31) Also thought about a GM 3800 series beater (mpg 19/28) A friend told me I should look at a CR-V…(mpg 22/30) If I go down to a 4 cyl, I figure I may as well just get a Prius…flame away if you think otherwise. TIA.
  18. Interested. What part of Columbus is it located in?
  19. Craigslist add is deleted, did you sell this? If not, please post details. Miles? My dd has 220k so I'm keeping my eyes open for my next, thanks. Looks like a great daily boat/sleeper.
  20. We were paying $145/month for cable/phone/internet until it jumped to $180/month. Cut the cord and we're now paying $65 for everything...but we don't watch a lot of sports. Bought a $10 antenna to get local stations that works great. No complaints here. TWC Internet $44/month (30mbps) Hulu $8/month Netflix $7/month Amazon Prime $50/yr (student discount) MagicJack Phone $20/yr (we have shotty cell coverage at times)
  21. I don't know if people even use tube TVs anymore, but I'm trying to unload this 13" Samsung TV from 1997 and wanted to offer it to CR prior to putting it out for the garbage. It even comes with the original remote. Great for a kids room or something on a garage workbench. I'll even deliver it if you're on my way to/from work (Between Sawmill and Pickerington). Price: FREE Location: Pickerington http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/Mobile%20Uploads/F568F36E-5701-4104-9788-78E5C825DFA6.jpg http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a362/adamgh81/Mobile%20Uploads/6C1F3A4F-A615-4606-95EC-CEFBE6AEDE76.jpg
