This is the next system to roll through. Should be a cold rain with some lake effect snow to follow.

 

Blue line indicates the freezing line at 850MB which is the upper atmosphere

I hear you are only to get 3-5 inches, relax. Of course the amount of salt that city puts on highways up there is frightening.

Probably with a nice base of ice since it's been raining all day. You would think people in the motor city would be decent drivers, but my commute is going to suck ballz. I hate this time of year; the weather, not the holiday's.

I think i've said this before, but where my wife is from, driving on the roads it sounds like you are driving on gravel due to all the salt.
