SpaceGhost
FML I hear you are only to get 3-5 inches, relax. Of course the amount of salt that city puts on highways up there is frightening.

jeffro
This is the next system to roll through. Should be a cold rain with some lake effect snow to follow. Blue line indicates the freezing line at 850MB which is the upper atmosphere http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo160/jeffro1265/Weather/12zgfs850mbTSLPp06132.gif http://i371.photobucket.com/albums/oo160/jeffro1265/Weather/12zgfs850mbTSLPp06168.gif
GSXRAntwon
Jeffro, the 1200V168, is that noon on 12/06/11?

Probably with a nice base of ice since it's been raining all day. You would think people in the motor city would be decent drivers, but my commute is going to suck ballz. I hate this time of year; the weather, not the holiday's.
jeffro
Jeffro, the 1200V168, is that noon on 12/06/11? Yes. v168 just means 168 hours ("hour 168") from the time the model was run.
PRD2BDF
I'll be in Oregon about a half hour to a hour from the coast. Lovely, looks like I'll be slammed with snow.

I think i've said this before, but where my wife is from, driving on the roads it sounds like you are driving on gravel due to all the salt. Wease
We getting how much snow ? A trace, at best. Columbus isn't going to be affected by this all that much in terms of accumulated snow fall.
