Its the GGEM model. Hour 84. Suggesting snow, but its like the only model showing this.

Upper left shows heights. 540 is what we need to pay attention to.

upper right is thicknesses.

bottom left is humidity

bottom right is precip.

It will likely be a rain event here. Possibly more severe. wind/heavy rains

ok, so the next few days on wunderground show snow, but is it anything that will accumulate?

not a whole lot. theres a clipper system coming down that will be pretty much fizzled out by the time it gets here. Honestly, i wouldnt expect anything more than a dusting.

This would be all frozen,

GFS: even less

The GFS is hinting at some potential backside snow with the current system thats in right now, but i seriously doubt it would stick to anything.

so far KCMH has has 6.5" of snow since december first. Not sure where they got that from, but its down from the 16" average we usually have by now. I think we might get one decent snow this year, but i'm really beginning to wonder. So far were on course to be the 3 least snowiest winter since 1911.

We usually get a storm around Valentines Day. Any models that far out?

GFS, which is updating right now. http://raleighwx.americanwx.com/models/gfs/06zgfs850mbTSLPp06GFSLoop.html

The thing is, this entire winter models have indicated a storm usually a week-10 days out. then slowly by the time it gets to crunch time the models slowly show it fading away. so, by saying that: the models not showing a storm around vday means theres a 60% chance of the opposite happening.

4th of july= fireworks in the snow!!

I dunno why, but this made me think of the 4th of July South Park episode where they are all in their winter coats covered in mud and don't know what to think lol
