Crossle
do you get paid any less for doing warranty work? Dunno how dealerships do it, but in mitchell ondemand and alldata they BOTH list labor times for standard rate and warranty rate. So, in short, yes. It could be worse. Rocky31186
A new tundra water pump replacement under warranty is 2.5 hours. Out of warranty it pays 5 hours flat rate. You normally don't make even on warranty jobs.

Rocky31186
http://www.motivationals.org/demotivational-posters/demotivational-poster-13690.jpg Obviously you've never worked on your own car. First step to do anything to an Audi.. Pull front bumper. Checking tire pressure? Pull front bumper. Jones trying to get it on with his boyfriend In the back? Leave front bumper on and push car off cliff.

Cordell
I like my job, I'm making money and don't really have much to bitch about. Consider this a fuck GM's R/V bodied vehicles thread. They are a PITA.

RedRocket1647545505
Don't get me started on my Colorado. I'm not as big of a GM fan as I once was, that's for sure.
SinisterSS
Wow. Makes me glad we didn't buy the Acadia we were looking at. Doesn't surprise me, though: if Americans want bigger vehicles, they are almost universally going to be heavier and more wear-and-tear on components. However, that's a lot of warranty repair work. My 37k mile Odyssey has some nasty brake vibrations...hopefully warranty will cover that... Honda's warranty is 3yrs 36k they consider brakes a wearable item, so I highly doubt they will
,,,,,,comma,,,,,,
Ill be bringing mine in for warranty work tomorrow, and if you mess it up I am forcing GM to buy it back.

PRD2BDF
I'm curious, after the timing chain and waterpump (or whatever the most common point of failure is) is replaced, is it good for a long time or is it one of these maddening recurring issues?
