Akula
I just replaced my curtain drain pump. Now my wife tells me the water isn't hot. I have a de-super heater on my geo-thermal and that keeps the tank hot but when we use too much the propane fires up. Well, it seems we haven't had the propane for a while and it looks like the thermocouple is dead. I hope this is as simple as it sounds... KennyFKINPowerz
I did mine last year and it was not as simple as everyone stated because I had to retrofit some things but it was not too bad overall. Took me about 45 min to do. Check your hot water heater though. Mine was older but the thermal cople had a reacall and I was able to go to Lowes and get it for free. XChris1632X
Before you replace it, try removing it and cleaning the end with some sand cloth. 9 times out of ten they can be cleaned and last for years to come
Akula
The problem was the insulator at the top had deteriorated thus no voltage, $15 and I am back in business.
